Carrier Name: Fidella Fly Tai Outer Space Blue Meh Dai
Size: One size with 4 cinching straps to reduce height, width, and head support.
Age/size of child: 3 months, 24.5", 12 lbs and 2 years, 35", 28lbs
Positions: Can be used for a front or back carry (per manual).
Recommended sizes (per manual): 7.5lbs to 33lbs

The Fly Tai is a very adjustable and has a lot of great features. The Fly Tai is made from a Fidella Woven Wrap and has no plastic or metal accessories. The Fidella wrap used is very soft, passes glide easily, and is a good weight for year round wearing. The padded waist is very soft and completely flexible The Fly Tai has wide top straps to spread across your back for a comfortable and supported front carry. One great feature is that the waist strap and the top straps have different shapes so you can tell them apart when both knots are behind you. The waist straps are rounded and the arm straps are angled.

I found I needed to cinch the carrier almost all the way to use with my three month old so I think it would fit best for bigger babies and children. The wide woven wrap straps will allow the caregiver to preserve the ideal carrying position of support from knee to knee for a very long time so the average-sized child would be able be comfortably carried for a long time. I loved this carrier with my two year old and found it supportive and comfortable for us both. He even tucked his arms inside the carrier and took a nice nap - I am a big fan of any carrier that comes with sleepy dust!

Babywearing International of Grand Rapids was given a discount on this carrier for writing this review; however, the opinions expressed here are truthful and the honest opinions of Kathy Low.

Hi how did you get your baby to sit so high out of it in the first pic. My one year old is so nosey it would be great to have him sat out like that. My joints dislocate so can't put him on my back

Hi Laura, This particular Mei Tai is very adjustable. It can be cinched down to make it shorter and more narrow for a smaller baby, which is how she got her baby so high up in it. She also started by tying the carrier at her natural waist to help her daughter be in a higher position as well.
