We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to helping caregivers discover the benefits of baby carriers. On a local level, our goal is to establish a community of caregivers who can come together for carrier help, babywearing fun, and sharing the joys of parenthood. Worldwide, we support babywearing education and outreach to make babywearing a universally-accepted practice.
We rely on sponsors to help us accomplish our goal, whether it be through a donation of carriers, time, funds, or other goods. With an ever-increasing number of members, we have a greater need to expand our outreach efforts and library. Your gift could mean a world of difference for a caregiver looking for a way to keep their baby close. Plus, Babywearing Grand Rapids is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, meaning that your donation can be used as a tax deduction. Special Event Sponsorship ($100+) Receive your name listed on the Event registration/invitations as a sponsor with your logo displayed at the event. You may also provide (flyers, cards or coupons) to be given to attendees at the event. We have 3 special events available for sponsorship. Birthday Bash: Join us in 2016 as we celebrate 3 years of babywearing, education, community, and friendship. Event to be hosted in June. International Babywearing Week: We will host a variety of events during this week long event and it is our largest outreach event of the year. Event takes place the first week in October. Volunteer Thank you event: This event is a way to celebrate our hardworking and generous volunteers and volunteer educators. Event is focused on team-building, rejuvenation, and gratitude. This event is hosted in November. Bronze Level Sponsorship ($150+) Be listed on our Sponsorship page as a Bronze Level Sponsor. You will be publicly thanked/mentioned on our on social media accounts at least twice in that calendar year. This donation level can be cash or in-kind. Silver Level Sponsorship ($250+) Be listed on our Sponsorship Page as a Silver Level Sponsor. You will be publicly thanked/mentioned on our social media accounts at least 3 times during your calendar year plus you can also provide us with promotional material (one type of flyers, cards or coupons) that will be available to attendees during one month of meetups (3 events). This donation level can be cash or in-kind. Gold Level Sponsorship ($500+) Be listed on our Sponsorship page as a Gold Level Sponsorship. You will be publicly thanked/mentioned on our social media accounts at least 4 times during your calendar year and at least twice will feature your company logo. You can provide us with promotional material (one type of flyers, cards, or coupons) that will be available to attendees during one month of meetups (3 events), once per quarter. Carrier Donation ($30-$200) Donate a new carrier to our group and the retail value of the carrier will be your sponsorship level. Need help picking a carrier? For a carrier donation, you will be publicly thanked on our social media accounts and your name will be listed on in our carrier photo albums on the carrier you have donated.
