Wrap name: Risaroo Lumen Twilight
Wrap size: 4.6m
Age/size of wrappee: 2y/30# & 5m/14#
Year Released: 2015
Blend: 50/50 Cotton/Tencel

Short & Sweet: Twilight is a great middle of the road wrap: works well with all ages; has just a pinch of grip, stretch, thickness, and texture; and has a pleasant neutral appearance. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for one wrap (ha!), a gift for a new wrapper, or someone looking for a versatile neutral.

Overview: Lumen Twilight, much like its beloved cousin Sagitta, would work well as one-and-done wrap. It manages to be thin and moldable enough for a small child without sacrificing the comfort and support needed for a toddler. While it may not be the PERFECT wrap for either end of the spectrum, it does really well in both scenarios. At the price point, it's a great deal for an everyday neutral. In hand, Lumen felt slightly soapy and medium weight. The texture is pretty minimal and even throughout. No part of the pattern was raised, so you could definitely get by with never ironing it. It was plenty soft after one wash and dry, so don't worry about having to break it in.

Wrapping qualities: If you thought Sagitta was too slippery, Lumen is for you. With tencel and cotton being more balanced on each side, Lumen has a light, even grip throughout. It is not grippy enough to make wrapping hard by any means, but you will have to work a little more to get that perfect chest pass. The stretch was minimal: enough that I could get snug passes but not so much that I had to pull extra tight to maintain tension.

Wrapped qualities: Lumen is solid and laid pretty flat on my shoulders without digging into them. I wouldn't call it cushy, but I found it pretty comfortable with a chest belt with my toddler. The bounce was minimal. Lumen held a slipknot well and adjusted rather easily.
