Carrier Name: Fidella Fly Tai Outer Space Blue Meh Dai Size: One size with 4 cinching straps to reduce height, width, and head support. Age/size of child: 3 months, 24.5", 12 lbs and 2 years, 35", 28lbs Positions: Can be used for a front or back carry (per manual). Recommended sizes (per manual): 7.5lbs to 33lbs
The Fly Tai is a very adjustable and has a lot of great features. The Fly Tai is made from a Fidella Woven Wrap and has no plastic or metal accessories. The Fidella wrap used is very soft, passes glide easily, and is a good weight for year round wearing. The padded waist is very soft and completely flexible The Fly Tai has wide top straps to spread across your back for a comfortable and supported front carry. One great feature is that the waist strap and the top straps have different shapes so you can tell them apart when both knots are behind you. The waist straps are rounded and the arm straps are angled.
I found I needed to cinch the carrier almost all the way to use with my three month old so I think it would fit best for bigger babies and children. The wide woven wrap straps will allow the caregiver to preserve the ideal carrying position of support from knee to knee for a very long time so the average-sized child would be able be comfortably carried for a long time. I loved this carrier with my two year old and found it supportive and comfortable for us both. He even tucked his arms inside the carrier and took a nice nap - I am a big fan of any carrier that comes with sleepy dust!

Wrap name: Fidella Iced Butterfly - Violet Wrap size: 6 (80 cm wide x 460 cm long) Age/size of wrappee: 2y/29# & 4m/14# Year Released: 2015 Blend: 100% Organic Cotton GSM: 205
Wrapping qualities: Iced Butterfly is thin, solid and wide with minimal grip.
The width of the wrap makes it fantastic for toddler wrapping. With my tall two year old there was plenty of wrap to make a seat while still allowing him to be arms in. Because it is a thinner, solid wrap, I think it will shine in multilayer carries with big kids. Passes are easy to spread and tighten because the material is not overly textured. Even with the extra width, I didn’t find it excessive with my 4 month old.
Overall, this wrap is airy and supportive. Perfect for summer. It would be great in single layer carriers for younger/smaller children, but because of the lack of cush, I would prefer multilayer carriers with bigger/heavier children.

Meet one of our newest library additions, the Fidella Outer Space Lilac Ring Sling!
Wrap name: Fidella Outer Space Lilac Ring Sling Wrap size: One Size Ring Sling (180cm long x 80cm wide) Age/size of wrappee: 2y/30# & 7m/15# Year Released: 2015 Blend: 100% Organic Cotton GSM: 205
Short & Sweet: A lightweight, wide ring sling that is a great option for newborns and hot days.
Wrapping qualities: Outer Space glides through the rings well and with ease with minimal slipping. The fabric is not textured or grippy, but I didn’t find it too slippery as a ring sling. It’s thinner fabric but quite wide, so it adjusts very much like a 250gsm fabric ring sling.
Wrapped qualities: Outer Space is decently supportive and sits well on the shoulders. It is nice and thin, letting lots of airflow through. The fabric is quite wide, making it a great choice for taller babies, but the thinness means that it won’t be too much fabric for a smaller babe. The gathered shoulder is quite wide, so fans of narrower shoulders would not appreciate this. It does not have cush, bounce, or great moldability, so parents of heavier children might not like this for long term wearing.

Wrap name: Risaroo Lumen Twilight Wrap size: 4.6m Age/size of wrappee: 2y/30# & 5m/14# Year Released: 2015 Blend: 50/50 Cotton/Tencel
Short & Sweet: Twilight is a great middle of the road wrap: works well with all ages; has just a pinch of grip, stretch, thickness, and texture; and has a pleasant neutral appearance. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for one wrap (ha!), a gift for a new wrapper, or someone looking for a versatile neutral.
Overview: Lumen Twilight, much like its beloved cousin Sagitta, would work well as one-and-done wrap. It manages to be thin and moldable enough for a small child without sacrificing the comfort and support needed for a toddler. While it may not be the PERFECT wrap for either end of the spectrum, it does really well in both scenarios. At the price point, it's a great deal for an everyday neutral. In hand, Lumen felt slightly soapy and medium weight. The texture is pretty minimal and even throughout. No part of the pattern was raised, so you could definitely get by with never ironing it. It was plenty soft after one wash and dry, so don't worry about having to break it in.
Wrapping qualities: If you thought Sagitta was too slippery, Lumen is for you. With tencel and cotton being more balanced on each side, Lumen has a light, even grip throughout. It is not grippy enough to make wrapping hard by any means, but you will have to work a little more to get that perfect chest pass. The stretch was minimal: enough that I could get snug passes but not so much that I had to pull extra tight to maintain tension.
Wrapped qualities: Lumen is solid and laid pretty flat on my shoulders without digging into them. I wouldn't call it cushy, but I found it pretty comfortable with a chest belt with my toddler. The bounce was minimal. Lumen held a slipknot well and adjusted rather easily.
