Meet one of our newest library additions, the Fidella Outer Space Lilac Ring Sling!

Wrap name: Fidella Outer Space Lilac Ring Sling

Wrap size: One Size Ring Sling (180cm long x 80cm wide)
Age/size of wrappee: 2y/30# & 7m/15#
Year Released: 2015
Blend: 100% Organic Cotton
GSM: 205

Short & Sweet: A lightweight, wide ring sling that is a great option for newborns and hot days.

Wrapping qualities: Outer Space glides through the rings well and with ease with minimal slipping. The fabric is not textured or grippy, but I didn’t find it too slippery as a ring sling. It’s thinner fabric but quite wide, so it adjusts very much like a 250gsm fabric ring sling.

Wrapped qualities: Outer Space is decently supportive and sits well on the shoulders. It is nice and thin, letting lots of airflow through. The fabric is quite wide, making it a great choice for taller babies, but the thinness means that it won’t be too much fabric for a smaller babe. The gathered shoulder is quite wide, so fans of narrower shoulders would not appreciate this. It does not have cush, bounce, or great moldability, so parents of heavier children might not like this for long term wearing.

Babywearing International of Grand Rapids was given a discount on this carrier for writing this review; however, the opinions expressed here are truthful and the honest opinions of Jessica Stampe.
